Firefighters Stand Vigil Over the Casket of Firefighter Boc
Very sad news from San Raymundo, Guatemala today as we learned that Firefighter Wendy Adamari Boc Bac, of the 105 compañia de Bomberos Voluntarios de San Pedro was killed in an explosion and fire at a fireworks factory near her home in San Raymundo.
Firefighter Boc was off duty at the time of the fire, but it is said she was attempting to aid in the emergency at the time of her death.
It is a stark reminder that no matter the color of our helmets, language or country, a loss of one is a loss to all.
